PaulN Aug2006 - Completed my first ever track day today at Prestwold Hall, Loughborough. I started in the fast group and just got faster!!!
Unfortunately it wasn't without incident, and despite having preload as hard as possible, I have now worn away right hand peg, rear brake lever arm, rear brake pedal, side stand, left peg, gear lever and worst of all and suprising right cylinder head...sh1t! Started to hang off towards the end of the day trying to prevent more grounding, without success!. Managed to get a blemish on my right knee slider though! :-) Tyres, Dunlop Trailmax D607's...very good, squirmy when asked to do too much but always predictable.
