Temporary X Fix (X-Fix) pending further surgery and fitting of the Taylor Spatial Frame (two studs/pins screwed into the bottom of the Femur and two more in the bottom of my Tibia) . I didn't have a photo of my X-Fix so this is someone elses photo - similar setup to the one I had for 2 weeks whilst stuck in Weston General waiting to get up to the BRI Orthopaedic wards. Very unstable, very painful, with every movement I could feel bone 'graunching' in the fracture site.
